TOUR CONDITIONS: Deposit and Payment:
Deposit of $200 per person for land arrangements ($700 for Southern Hemisphere
destinations) is required at time of booking. No reservation will
be processed without deposit. Full and final payment is due 60 days
before departure date.
Note: All brochure prices reflect cash discount. Credit
cards gladly accepted at credit price, which is 3% higher for Master Card,
Visa, and 4% for American Express cards.
Tour Cancellation: All cancellations must be in writing to SnoSearch. Between the time of booking and 60 days prior to departure, a $100 per person administrative fee, plus any vendor or 3rd-party fees or costs will be charged. Between 59 and 35 days prior to departure, a $200 per person fee, plus any vendor or 3rd-party fees or costs will be charged unless a substitute is found. Within 35 days of scheduled departure, no refunds will be given. Tour cancellation insurance is available through SnoSearch as an option to clients and is strongly recommended for their protection.
Alteration of Land Arrangements: Due to difficulties of changing reservations, and do to the amount of work involved therein, the operator is compelled to charge $25 per person for each change of itinerary.
Reservations: The tour operator reserves the right to substitute hotels and airlines within the same category. Any booking over reserved allotments is subject to confirmation.
Cost of Program: Cost of program includes administrative charges, production and distribution costs of brochure and a reasonable profit margin for the tour operator and travel agents. Land tour prices quoted are valid only if purchased in conjunction with tour operator promotional air. All tour packages are per person basis, twin occupancy. A $75 per person supplement for land-only purchases will be charged.
Responsibility: SnoSearch Ski Tours and/or its agents act in the capacity of agent for the passengers in all matters pertaining to travel whether by plane, rail, boat, steamer, or any other means of conveyance. They shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss occasioned by neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the tour, or any hotel proprietor or car rental organization or other persons supplying services or materials in connection with the tour. Neither SnoSearch (and/or its agents) nor the airline concerned are to be held responsible for lack of snow or non-operation of lifts at ski resorts, for closure of access roads to or from resorts, due to bad weather or road conditions or for any other reasons beyond their control. In addition, they are not to be held liable for any additional payments or any refunds for unused hotel accommodations or meals occasioned by such late arrivals at hotels holding rooms as per confirmed itineraries or for any other reason.
SnoSearch, and its agents, act only as agents for reservations concerning hotels, transportation and sightseeing tours and do not guarantee the psychological satisfaction of the client for these reservations. Neither the tour operator nor its agents assume any responsibility or liability for schedule and time changes of airline, transfer companies and trains.
It is the client's responsibility to reconfirm and verify transfer and flight times at least 48 hours before departure.
Responsibility of all Participating Airlines: All participating airlines are responsible only for the air travel portion of this tour performed by it on behalf of tour participants in accordance with the terms and conditions of their individual passage contracts and subject to applicable laws, treaties, and regulations governing air transportation. Tour services including, but not limited to, carriage by land or sea, guide services, hotel accommodation, restaurants and all services other than carriage by air, are furnished by contractors who are independent and do not act for, or on behalf of participating airlines. Participating airlines shall not be held responsible for any act, omission or event occurring prior to the tour participant's embarkation or after his disembarkation from their aircraft; and in purchasing a passage contract as part of this tour, the participant acknowledges and accepts the foregoing conditions.
Participating airlines are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not actually on board their aircraft.
Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted in writing no later than 30 days after the return date. Late requests will not be honored.
Rates: All tour prices
quoted are based on tariffs and international exchange rates of the United
States dollar effective at the time of printing, and are subject to change
due to currency devaluation, fuel surcharges, general tariff increases,
or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator.
